March 28, 2006. Not snow, but hail (though the hills right behind us were covered with snow just a week earlier). As a conclusion to a month of inclement weather, there were downpours of rain & hail throughout the area, and Folsom was under a tornado watch or warning for the 2nd or 3rd time in March.
April 15, 2006. After 6 weeks of unseasonably cold, wet weather, the plants and we are ready for a real Spring. The Ceanothus is incredible, turning into a huge mass of blue flowers. The Crab Apple blooms are far prettier than the photo could capture.
